The Oyster Kiln was an annual online literary and arts magazine that I founded and managed from 2009–2012. The magazine grew out of a writing workshop that I established with a small group of writers when my college wasn’t offering workshop courses. Eventually it grew into a full-length publication featuring the work of 25 writers and artists over its three-year run. SRQ Magazine published a spotlight on The Oyster Kiln and its origin story in the Culture City section of its March 2012 issue.
